Marjorie Wahl

-2008-

The 30th Rochester Area School Bus Safety Road-eo was dedicated to Margie. Marge would man the desk for as long as she was needed. Marge came to us from Board of Education Services, Monroe County District #1 where she worked in the Transportation Department on O'Connor Road. Self-effacing, always polite - she left all of us richer for knowing her.

Mary Hinton

-2007-

We remember
Mary Hinton’s ever present smile
this year Mary can not be with us to beam it. No matter the situation: the years of Cold slushy sleet, other years of driving Monsoons, still others of wet Drizzle, the annoying oven Heat or those much more pleasant temperate sunny years. They were all the same to Mary. she made all road-eos enjoyable with her infectious attitude. Mary has been a fixture of our local Road-eos; first as a driver then as a judge. Mary was dedicated Road-eo committee member representing BOCES, Monroe District #1. She made sure the coffee pot is always on, and the registration packets stuffed on time. Most of the competitors will remember her at the merchandise table keeping the toy buses stocked and other items properly displayed.
Remember to give a smile this year… That’s the way Mary would want it.
